Supporting Cast: I Only Miss Her When I’m Breathing

Season 6 of Shameless premiered on Sunday, 1/10/2016. Here are some of the actors who were in the supporting cast of the first episode: “I Only Miss Her When I’m Breathing”:

–Gordon Greene played the groundskeeper at the cemetery where Bianca was laid to rest by her family, after they threw Frank Gallagher out. The groundskeeper ended up kicking Frank out of the cemetery.
–Will Sasso played Yanis, whose current mission in life is to double down on the nuisance factor that already has his new neighbors passing a petition around. Last season, Jenica Bergere and Lily Holleman played The Two Lisas, the ladies who moved into the neighborhood and spearheaded the gentrification movement.  We’re not sure these are the same actresses.
–Chris Brochu played Dylan, Helene Runyon’s son. Lip assaulted Dylan when he thought that Helene was dumping him for a new boy toy. Dylan didn’t take it lying down, though, because he’s on the wrestling team at Yale and nearly broke one of Lip’s ribs.

–Paige Diaz played Tiffany Thomas, a student who was coming on to Lip in Professor Youens’ class where Lip is the assistant teacher. After beating up his lover’s son, Lip probably thought it was over with Helene so he promptly took Tiffany up on her offer. It does look like Helene is going to forgive him.
–Alan Rosenberg played Professor Youens. Did anyone else think the Prof is giving Frank Gallagher a run for the Disheveled Drunk Award? After seeing Lip help his students and, in particular, one student who got a D for plagiarizing Ketterle, Youens encouraged Lip to think about becoming a teacher.
–Victor Onuigbo played Carl’s friend, Nick, now a Gallagher houseguest, after spending the last 9 years in juvie for patricide.

More notes:
–Chuckie Slott (Kellen Michael), son of the Gallagher kids’ half-sister, Sammi, is still in juvie even though Carl got out for good behavior (if you can imagine that). Chuckie is hanging with the skinheads and still has that swastika tattoo his mother put on his forehead.
–Mickey (Noel Fisher) got Ian’s named tattoed on his chest. He not only spelled it wrong (Ian Galager), it got infected.
–What was up with the crucifix in the church scene. Why was Frank staring at it?
