Rihanna: No such thing as a bad role model

Rihanna tweeted yesterday that there is no such thing as a bad role model, after learning that a Canadian school girl named Kelly Jarvis tweeted her opinon that Rihanna was a bad role model. Kelly’s tweet was retweeted 40 times and favorited 15 times . Rihanna’s reply was retweeted 50+ times and favorited 50+ times.

After getting attacked on twitter for that opinion and seeing Rihanna’s tweet, Kelly responded “… You can be a bad role model, there is such thing.. lmao.”

And that’s true, but the real question is: if someone chooses you as a role model, even though you have not held yourself out as one, whose fault is that?

Rihanna posted a photo of herself on instagram wearing not much else but a black wig, beads and wooden bangles. Her handle over there is “badgirlriri.” Doesn’t sound like she’s holding herself out as anybody’s role model to us.
