P. Diddy Blames Sugary Kool-Aid for Bed-Wetting

Sean “Diddy” Combs gave new meaning to his moniker P. Diddy during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote a new brand of water called AQUAhydrate. The 43-year-old hip hop mogul decided to “confess” that he was a bed-wetter as a child.

Combs said he was a Kool-Aid kid when growing up and it was the sugar that caused the problem.

“I used to pour a half of pound of sugar into the Kool-Aid,” saying “there is something about sugar that makes you wet the bed.” He cured the problem by switching to water. “So I went on this quest to stop wetting the bed and the first day I had a sleepover and I didn’t wet the bed it was like one of the greatest days of my life.” He credits that night with “the swagger that I have today,” and offered up this advice to kids: “So to all you boys and girls out there: As Muhammad Ali used to tell you to brush your teeth, I’m telling you to drink water, OK?”

Presumably, preferably AQUAhydrate. The Bad Boy Record entrepreneur was there with actor Mark Wahlberg, his partner in launching the water brand, who also extolled its virtues. Combs’ consumption of Ciroc vodka was also a topic.
