Moroccan and Monroe are #dembabies Names

Proud parents Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have revealed the names of their twins: Moroccan Scott Cannon and Monroe Cannon.

Their little boy was named after the top tier of Mariah’s NYC digs, the Moroccan Room, where Nick got down on bended knee and asked the five octave songbird to marry him. We feel this is very appropriate. If little Moroccan misbehaves at some point in the future, Mariah can say: “Go to your room, Moroccan,” which will immediately remind her of Nick’s proposal in the Moroccan Room.

Monroe was named after Hollywood icon and ultimate sex symbol, Marilyn Monroe .

#dembabies have not yet taken over the top searches for their names.
