Luka Doncic’s 60 Points, 21 Rebounds, 10 Assists Triple Double Sets Record

The Dallas Mavericks outscored the New York Knicks by 10 points in the fourth quarter of their December 27th game in Dallas, forcing overtime. Dallas won 126-121, but that wasn’t the story of the night. Luka Doncic sparked a late game comeback by Dallas, and ended the night scoring 60 points, with 21 rebounds, and 10 assists. It was the first time in NBA history that anyone has had a 60-20-10 triple double. The 60 point performance was not only a career high for Doncic, it was also a Dallas franchise record, breaking the previous record of 53 held by Dirk Nowitzki. His 21 rebounds were also a career high for the 23 year old superstar.

It was the fourth win in a row for Dallas. The Mavericks improved to 19-16 on the season.

Mark, Thanks for this article. I watched the game in amazement. “Luka” is definitely off the charts with the points scored and the triple double record in that matchup. I’m sure Mark Cuban is already thinking about a pay increase for when contract renewal time comes around.
