Lindsay Lohan, Her List, Her Miscarriage
Last month, there was a big hoopla over Lindsay Lohan and a list she allegedly wrote down naming people she has slept with. The 27-year-old actress, currently starring in an OWN docu-series, recently revealed that she did write that list but, she claimed, it was part of her recovery process.
“That list that came out, that was a part of my [time at] Betty Ford. It’s step number five or step number eight,” she said, referring to the 12 steps followed by Alcoholics Anonymous. “That was in my Betty Ford book, so that was really personal to my sponsor. You write that for your sponsor.”
Well, in the 12 steps, the 5th step is to admit to God, yourself and another person “the exact nature” of your wrongdoing. The 8th step is to make a list — a list of people you harmed that you must become “willing to make amends” to. There is no step telling anybody to list the people they had sex with. There’s a very slim possibility, we suppose, that Lindsay’s sponsor speaks in slang and told her to make a list of people she screwed, but probably not. Her affair with Samantha Ronson is well known and we don’t see her on that list, even though 6 names remain blurred out. Ronson’s name wouldn’t shock anyone in the least, so there’s no reason to blur it out. Then there’s James Franco, who didn’t want anyone thinking he hit that. He came right out and called Lohan a liar.
Now the “Mean Girls” star has announced that there was, up until now, a secret reason for her missing two weeks of filming for her OWN series. “No one knows this — I had a miscarriage for those weeks that I took off,” Lohan said, adding “Mentally, that messes with you.” Lohan did not reveal how far along she was or who the father was or whether the “no ones” that didn’t know included her mother and Oprah Winfrey.
I’m glad she was so stoned she forgot about me.
