Here’s a summary of the clues on The Best Ever Trivia Show for Thursday, July 18, 2019 with host Sherri Shepherd. Today’s episode title is “Web of Answers.”

The format of this show pits 3 contestants against 3 trivia experts. There are 3 rounds and the player with the highest score wins $1,000 and moves on to the Ultimate Trivia Challenge for a chance to win $10,000. They give one player a choice of categories and a choice of experts to play against. It’s a multiple choice format.

In Round 1, Aaron chose EIGHT-LEGGED CREATURES instead of Folk Dancing and he chose expert Raj. 4 questions, 50 points for each correct answer and double if Raj gets it wrong.

In Round 2, as the leader, Alastair picked FOLK DANCING and not Advertising. 100 points for each correct answer. Arianna was this round’s trivia expert to beat for double points.

The twist in this 3-question round is the expert reveals how confident s/he is about the answer and the players have a chance to go with that for 200 points or to pick their own answer for 400 points, if right. Ryan is this round’s expert.

Lindsey lost that round to Ryan and just won the $1,000. If they would cough up $200 a question for that round, Lindsey would have picked up an extra $400.
