Front Row Amy Cheers on the Milwaukee Brewers

It isn’t often that a fan of a sports team gets some national attention, but the Milwaukee Brewers have one of these rare fans.  Amy Williams, better known as “Front Row Amy” is a married mom from Oshkosh, Wisconsin and a big baseball fan who loves the Brewers.  She’s a season ticket holder, and sits in the front row right behind the plate at Miller Park, and can be seen on television on centerfield camera shots towards the plate.   She first gained some national attention when Deadspin.com reported on her.  With the Brewers in the playoffs, she’s getting more attention from the press, and has developed following on Facebook and Twitter.

When asked if she was surprised at all of this, Amy replied “I am surprised!  It’s crazy!  The buxom Ms. Williams went on to say “what first got people’s attention was probably, well, you know, “the girls”.  But, what I think keeps their attention is that I am so passionate about the Brewers…the Brewers are my life during baseball season, and I guess that shows when I’m at games”.  She doesn’t mind the focus on her figure either, and doesn’t think her looks hurt her credibility as a serious fan rather than someone just there to be seen.  “That’s part of who I am! I love working out!  And I don’t mind showing off my work a little bit!”

Well, in our opinion, her hard work is paying off.  However, Amy might not get another chance to cheer on the Brewers from her front row seat this season.  The Brewers trail the St. Louis Cardinals 2-1 in the best of seven National League Championship Series, and if the Cardinals win the next two games in St. Louis, the Brewers will be out.  Win or lose, we’re betting Amy renews her season ticket and is back at Miller Park in 2012.
