Just like last week, Monday’s Final Jeopardy! clue was the killer. After that strikeout, everyone got FJ in the next game. Two “only ONE” matches followed that and we ended the week with the first 2-player Final of the season. It was also the first game won by a man and the first time the “Leaves of Grass” man showed up this season. We also had our first 3x champ this week.
Ellen Wernecke was the returning champ on Monday. She lost to Angela Ward. Betsy Knudson defeated Angela on Tuesday and remained champ for 2 more games. Ivan Plis took over on Friday. We’ll be seeing him at the first podium come Monday.
Jeopardy! tweeted this clip of the $600 clue from the “Time for a Drink” category in Friday’s game.
