Wow! What a week this was for the teens. 1/3 fj Monday and Tuesday. 2/3 fj Wednesday and Thursday. 3/3 fj Friday. This group makes up an exciting time for the semi-finals and the final next week.

Who can forget Leonard Cooper last year? He didn’t know the final correct response but had such a commanding lead that he wrote “…but I just won $75,000.”

After finishing with only $3K the day before, Leonard got lucky in the second final match (link). He risked everything he had to catch up to the others and lucked out with an easy DD.

      • jacobska says:

Yep. We remember that gutsy move. DDs can make a difference IF the responses are correct. As you stated lucky for him. This coming week should be equally exciting.

      • VJ says:

That’s right — it was gutsy. If I’m remembering correctly, the first time Roger Craig did it in the BotD, it was just to show off, but the second time, he really needed to do it. It just didn’t work out in his favor.

Speaking of the BotD, now I’m wondering if they are going to rerun that here over the break because my TV schedule says the two weeks after the Teens will be the Teachers.
