The beginning of this week was a fine demonstration of the saying “good things come in threes,” wasn’t it? And that was that. For the last 2 games of the week, the pendulum swung the other way. The easiest clues were on Tuesday and Wednesday. The 2 triple stumpers, it seemed, were equally baffling unless one had a deeper acquaintance with the topics.

Jeopardy! champs for the week of June 4, 2018

David Kleinman was Monday’s returning champ. He had a great time but lost to Catherine Ono. Tuesday went just as well as Monday for Catherine– she made the exact same amount. On Wednesday, she was defeated by Diana Hsu, who won again on Thursday. On Friday, Deirdre Thomas won and she will be back on Monday. Diana had the highest payday this week. She would have topped that on Thursday if she only stood pat on her $29,600 runaway!

Once again, The Top 10 payouts of Season 34 stayed the same, with $33,201 the lowest score on there.

Here is Jeopardy!’s Power Women tribute to Catherine, Diana and Deirdre. They don’t show the entire Single Moms on TV category from Friday, but it was certainly a factor in Deirdre’s triumph — she ran it.
