The final showdown in the 2016 Teen Tournament took place on Monday and Tuesday with Michael Borecki, Sharath Narayan and Alec Fischthal competing in two final matches. Sharath emerged the victor, taking the $100,000 grand prize, Alec won $50,000 and Michael won $25,000.

The fact that Sharath won by $1 was the most hyped moment of the week. Here is the “Do the Geographic Math” category from the final match. Sharath did so well in it, that it really wasn’t that big of a surprise that he did the math when it came to Final Jeopardy!, was it?

We then returned to the regular games on Wednesday. Andrew Lee defeated returning champ Stephanie Hubley on that day and also won a second match on Thursday. He lost on Friday to Justin Bender who will be the returning champ come Monday.
