As sometimes happens in the Prognosticator Dept.on here, the one clue that a clean sweep was predicted for was the only triple stumper. That was on Thursday and the current champ, Lisa Schlitt, actually had the right answer.
She just ran into a problem writing the whole thing out, so her response had to be added to the NOT ACCEPTED list on Spelling Decisions. Lisa had something else, though– a runaway, her second of the week. The first one was on Monday.
Lisa began the week with as returning champ with a $27,600 win under her belt from the previous Friday, and ended it with $111,500 more and a guaranteed spot in the next Tournament of Champions. Bravo, Lisa!
