Season 41 kicked off with a set of Final Jeopardy! clues that weren’t particularly impressive. They either leaned to “too hard” to “too easy”. The last 2 clues on Thursday and Friday were very easy. The one player who didn’t have a real shot at winning knew her response was incorrect. I think she would have given the right response if she was in serious contention. Actually, imo, the World Borders clue on Wednesday was the only one that wasn’t too hard or too easy.

Will Weiss was the only repeat champ this week, for a total of $27,600. Jeopardy!’s total payout was $80,000 for the whole week. $25,000 was paid in consolation prize money. Will Weiss got $2,000 of that.
