Last week, there were 9 correct responses out of a possible 15. The same thing happened this week, except the distribution was a lot different. There were 2 clues that everyone got this week. Last week there were none. There was 1 triple stumper. Last week there were none. Oddly enough, the only clue I predicted everyone would get was the Ancient Builders clue on Wednesday. That being said, I’ll vote the Literature clue the easiest. The lone stumper pretty much depended on remembering the song you heard everywhere in 2019. It might have helped if they put something about Billy Ray Cyrus in the clue!

This week’s winners:
Mon 7/07/25 $28,001 Scott Riccardi
Tue 7/08/25 $36,401 Scott Riccardi
Wed 7/09/25 $12,500 Scott Riccardi
Thu 7/10/25  $4,999 Scott Riccardi
Fri 7/11/25 $33,000 Scott Riccardi

Scott Riccardi came into the week as a 2x champ with $68,000 under his belt. He notched his 5th victory on Wednesday. That may look like a meager win, but he actually had a runaway! The meager win came on Thursday, the only game this week when Scott finished second. He more than made up for it on Friday. The total top prizes came to $114,901 this week. All of it went to Scott. Adding in his $68,000 from last week brings him up to $182,901. Scott only needs a win of at least $17,100 to go over the $200K mark on Monday.

Jeopardy! also paid out $25K in consolation prizes. All of it went to Scott Riccardi’s challengers.

Here is the SOME ECON category from Monday’s game, with a last minute reversal
