This was a poor week in the Final Jeopardy! round. There were 2 triples stumpers, the toughest being Pop Culture People on Wednesday. The “Irish” part of that clue probably did nothing to make it easier, making some think of “Mc” or “O'” names. On the other side of the coin, 2 people got Friday’s clue right, making it the week’s easiest.
This week’s winners:
Mon 4/06/26 $31,611 Jamie Ding
Tue 4/07/26 $36,360 Jamie Ding
Wed 4/08/26 $9,201 Jamie Ding
Thu 4/09/26 $33,027 Jamie Ding
Fri 4/10/26 $36,400 Jamie Ding
16x champ Jamie Ding returned on Monday and got super close to half a million. He made it the next day. Those 2 games were runaways but the next day, Jamie had a close call. For the first time, he was not in the lead before the final round. When no one got the final clue, it came down to the bets and Jamie kept the most money. The next 2 games were runaways. Jamie finished the week as a 21x champ with $609,000. He’s in a tie with Chris Pannullo for number of games won now. He’s already surpassed Mattea Roach’s winnings of $560,983 but he’ll have to win 3 more games to beat the 23 games she won.
In addition to the $146,599 won by Jamie Ding, an additional $25,000 was paid out in consolation prizes: $3,000 for second place and $2,000 for third place each day.
