This was yet another pitiful week in the Final Jeopardy! round. In another way, we could look at it as a “wheelhouse” type of week for clues that require deeper than surface knowledge. That happened 3 times this week. No one got the final clue in the other 2 games. It was strange indeed that the subject of Friday’s clue passed away 7 days after that game aired. We wondered if they would have pulled the clues if it had happened the other way around.
This week’s winners:
Mon 3/09/26 $45,599 James Denison
Tue 3/10/26 $9,001 James Denison
Wed 3/11/26 $8,601 James Denison
Thu 3/12/26 $16,798 Luke Henson
Fri 3/13/26 $22,633 Jamie Ding
James Denison was Monday’s returning champ after winning $36,199 the previous Friday. He added $63,201 to that by winning 3 more games for a grand total of $99,400. That averages out to $24,850 per game but, as you can see, James actually won the bulk of it in his first 2 games. Luke Henson took over the first podium on Thursday but lost to Jamie Ding on Friday. So we began the week with James and ended it with Jamie.
Jeopardy! paid out $102,632 to the champs this week, with an additional $25,000 in the consolation prizes: $3,000 for second place and $2,000 for third place every day.
Here is the OSCAR NIGHT WITH CONAN O’BRIEN category from Thursday’s game.
