THEATER: A 1955 play review noted “restless Delta folk” & “lives as uncomfortable & insecure as the proverbial” this title show

We had one clue this week that all the players got on Tuesday. The category, time period plus a reference to royalty were quite helpful. Compare that to Thursday’s triple stumper. It wasn’t narrowed down to a continent, nevermind a country and some found the “legs” part of the clue misleading, including moi. In any case, those were the easiest and hardest clues of the week on the show.

The quarterfinals of the last Champions Wild Card tournament wrapped up by Thursday of this week and we saw the first semifinal on Friday. Mira Hayward won that game. Next week, there will be 2 more semifinals:

Mon 2/19: Diandra D’Alessio, Deb Bilodeau, Taylor Clagett
Tue 2/20: Kat Jepson, Alex Gordon, Jesse Matheny

The winners of those games will join Mira Hayward in 2 final matches on Wednesday and Thursday. At long last, the Tournament of Champions will begin on Friday.

Here is the “I’M CUBAN” category from Friday’s game
