The week began with a triple solve, just like last week. All of the clues for the rest of the week produced two correct responses. I thought all the clues were easy this week. In fact, I predicted a triple solve 3 times. I predicted 2 right for Tuesday and Friday, so those are the ones I didn’t think were slam dunks. At any rate, there were 11 correct responses out of a possible 15 this week, a far better result than we have seen in a while.
This week’s winning scores:
Mon 1/06/24 $36,801 Drew Goins
Tue 1/07/24 $19,400 Enzo Cunanan
Wed 1/08/25 $20,401 Sam Cameron
Thu 1/09/25 $21,800 Enzo Cunanan
Fri 1/10/25 $31,601 Drew Goins
The above scores were not paid in real dollars. The winners of the first 3 games advanced to the finals on Thursday and Friday and the prizes for each were: Drew Goins $35,000 (winner); Enzo Cunanan $20,000 (2nd place); and Sam Cameron $10,000 (3rd place), for a total of $65,000.
Additionally, the show paid out $15,000 in consolation prizes to the second and third place semi-finalists.
