This was a tough week. The majority of FJ!’s got only one correct response. Thursday’s clue was the only one that two got, so that must be the easiest. Friday’s clue was the lone triple stumper, so that must be the hardest. The only one I didn’t get was Wednesday’s clue with the 2 authors. I can only say I knew two of them cold. The other two I wasn’t at all sure my responses were correct but they were.
This week’s winning scores:
Mon 1/20/24 $26,800 Drew Goins
Tue 1/21/24 $52,000 Will Yancey
Wed 1/22/25 $13,799 Mehal Shah
Thu 1/23/25 $27,200 Mehal Shah
Fri 1/24/25 $100,000 Mehal Shah
The above scores were not paid in real dollars. After the 2-day final, Mehal Shah won $100,000. Drew Goins and Will Yancey each won $40,000. So with the $60,000 total consolation prizes below, Jeopardy! paid out $200,000.
The show paid out six $10,000 consolation prizes to these players who didn’t make the finals.

Jay Fisher
