This wouldn’t have been too bad of a week if it was regular play, but it was the Tournament of Champions. Viewers expected greatness, particularly in Final Jeopardy! It’s true that two of the games left a lot to be desired; however, there were 3 runaway games. Friday’s final clue was the easiest because they only had to give one of the answers. I guess I have to give the nod to the fishing tome for hardest clue. There are many clues on that book and/or its author in J-Archive and there are many clues on the London premiere work, but a whole category was dedicated to the London premiere work and its author has 4 whole categories so far.
This week’s winners:
Mon 1/19/26 $19,400 Tom Devlin
Tue 1/20/26 $18,190 Allegra Kuney
Wed 1/21/26 $8,800 Cameron Berry
Thu 1/22/26 $4,398 Ashley Chan
Fri 1/23/26 $32,917 Steven Olson
You can easily see which games were runaways from the scores. The winners earned a spot in the semifinals. The other 10 contestants went home with $5,000 each.
Here is the BROADWAY MUSICALS BY OPENING NUMBER category from Thursday’s game.
