Man. This game had its ups and downs.

  2. Rick says:

Another great game to be sure, but I missed the FJ again. Oh well! For lack of anything better, I went with Sleeping Beauty for FJ. By the way, Walt Disney purchased that special sound equipment from RCA, and not from Hewlett Packard.

    • Rick says:

Okay, Walt Disney Studios did purchase the Model 200A audio oscillator from Hewlett-Packard, but RCA engineers were instrumental in making the musical a classic.

    • VJ says:

Sometimes I wish you would look at some of the sites I link to, Rick. They bought the 200B Model from Hewlett-Packard. I don’t make that stuff up and I always provide the source.

      • Rick says:

Yeah, I apologize VJ. I was too hasty here.

      • VJ says:

Accepted, Rick. I understand that people don’t always have time to read stuff I link to or even the whole recap. But I try to cover the salient points in the sites I link to so we can expand our knowledge and also to help us remember stuff. Some sites are very interesting and some are good fun.

We’re only halfway through Week 2 and we still did not have our first 3 day champion of the season. Chris was trailing throughout the whole game and was the only player to come up with the correct response in Final. Chris won despite only giving 9 correct responses in the main game. Maybe tomorrow Chris can improve better and give more correct responses.

    • VJ says:

Chris certainly wasn’t alone. Aiden was having a bad time of it too, esp in the first round. In the end, it didn’t matter for Chris. But, yeah, I’d love to see a lot less stumpers tomorrow! Glory be!

      • Jason says:

Boy howdy, VJ, I agree. Anyone who thought this was a good game didn’t see it. I’m sorry to be so rough, but, really.

I was 2/3 on DD and got FJ. I knew it was either Snow White or Fantasia. I’m a Disney-phile, so, I get to keep my card!
