RIP to india cooper. Still though this game is a great dedication to her. She made history on jeopardy and she will forever be remembered.

    • Richard Corliss says:

She was on before December 1991. On May 1, 1991, she was leading into Final Jeopardy! and she lost.

  2. VJ says:

At the end of the show, they had this dedication:

    “In memory of India Cooper
    Died May 17, 2020.
One of the best players to ever play Jeopardy!
We will always keep her in our hearts”

    • Dal Higbee says:

Did they do it at the end of the July 27 show with Regis Philbin in the game? That was the very first Celebrity Jeopardy! game from 1992.

    • Richard Corliss says:

Did Alex made a speech at the end?

    • VJ says:

On the July 27 show with Regis, they had this onscreen message right after Alex did his “From the Vault” intro:

“We dedicate this episode to a great friend and colleague
      Regis Philbin
      1931-2020”

Neither message was spoken. I thought they should have put India’s dedication in the beginning, too. Some people shut the show off right after the FJ Results.
