Once again, a good game with high totals after DJ, strong challengers, and an anti-climactic finish. “Frankenstein” came to mind, I don’t know why, but I doubt I’d have written that down. Amber’s guess did not contain a title character. She was strong, had a few misses, but stayed out of lockout range. I thought there were a lot of knowable clues tonight.

I knew they’d reverse the bot guess. My own answer was chatbot. I deal with them way too often.

The colon ailment, which I didn’t know, reminded me of an old SNL routine with Joe Piscopo and one of the women actors. I knew only the first DD, we read it in jr high over 60 yrs ago. Got the post-surgical space.

Hmmm……I was late getting into today’s game, and pummeled with plenty of interruptions during the course of the game. Anyways, it was quite a competitive game. As for the FJ, all I could come up with was Moby Dick.

There are allusions to The Ancient Mariner (and other works) in “Frankenstein” — Here’s one:

“I am going to unexplored regions, to “the land of mist and snow;” but I shall kill no albatross….”

Actually Caleb didn’t have the game locked up before Final. Amber is still within reach of him. Speaking of Amber, I hope she gets invited back to Second Chance next season since she had 24 correct. I hope you have a Happy 4th of July VJ.
