I was 2/3 on DD (should have known the 2nd one, having SEEN THE MOVIE on TCM). However, I missed Final, because I’m not much of a non-musical theatre guy.

I thought the hit for the cycle question was “inside the park home run”. Those are pretty darn tootin’ rare!

    Still, a fun game.

Terrific game. Carl rallied strongly, Pete was outstanding and never got to try any of the DDs. I miraculously hit all 3, the first and last being guesses. Got Final quickly because I’d heard of the 2007 play. Couldn’t recall the earlier one till Ken mentioned it, then remembered seeing the film with Brando.

Got the Coppola movie (that was a toughie). Sad none of them knew the toughest part of the cycle, even after one of them swung and missed. Unwed designer definitely was guessable. The Spurs/vampire before and after was pretty easy. Obviously this group wasn’t into “sportsball.”

Scott is the first player this season to win 9 games. He is now in first place in the TOC tracker and is now #20 in the all-time winnings. It was exactly one year ago today when Isaac won his 9th game on July 15, 2024 and on this date, Scott won his 9th game and lightning struck twice.
