The “Bite Club” black snake – Anmol, anaconda? Bad call.

And, I have to admit, Christopher and Anmol weren’t really too competitive.

  2. Lou says:

Happy to see Emily winning again! Congrats to her and to Anmol getting final right! I hope emily can continue her streak of wins next week!

  3. Rick says:

I quickly thought of titanic for FJ, but then changed it to titanium after the metallic element No. 22. I wonder, would I still get credit?

    • VJ says:

No, Rick, you wouldn’t get credit because that word doesn’t fit the other definitions in the clue

      • Rick says:

I think that it threw me when the clue mentioned “having great strength or size” as that particular word would seldomly be used in that sense. In fact, one could describe such a usage as archaic. That was why I reverted back to titanium, and granted titanium was not an adjective.

        • VJ says:

Idk, I’ve seen it used to describe the size of something as having “titanic proportions”

I just googled that phrase with the quotes and got 63,000 results. There’s even a song. lol

  4. Collin says:

Emily did great today again, she will see you following Monday if she could get a 4-day champion, and will compete in the Tournament of Champions when she has 5 wins in a row.

  5. klm says:

Isn’t it unfair to have two music-related categories (Musician’s real names in J! round, and World of opera in DJ!) when one of the players is a band director?
Emily ran the “opera” category and the “ends in I” category but Mayim mentioned only her “ends in I” run for the audience applause. Why not the first also?

    • VJ says:

Who knows, klm? This is just my opinion but I don’t even consider it running a category when there’s a Daily Double in it, even if one player gets every clue. It’s not like you beat the other two players to the clue. You get it because you landed on it when it was your pick and you get the clue all to yourself.

That being said, I noticed that Mayim told Steve that he ran the Bible category when the last clue was a Daily Double on Wednesday.

One way or the other, it’s no big deal to me — I’ve seen it happen both ways with Alex, too.

  6. Jacob Ska says:

The last time there was a triple stumper fj clue, on a Friday, was March 25, 2022. So glad Mayim leaves on a positive note her last day.

  7. Kevin Cheng says:

We are only 2 weeks left until the Season Finale of Season 38. Ken Jennings will host the final two weeks of Season 38.
