Yikes! I said homeopathy, as, that and allopathy (MD) were put head to head about 110 years ago, as to which way the US would go. I think, but am CERTAINLY not sure, that the study was supported by John D. Rockefeller. As we see now, MD has won out.

Again, the FJ bets showed IQ levels of the second and third runners. The second runner showed low IQ bet and deservedly lost, while the third showed high IQ bet and deservedly won.

The champ was doomed after his unexplicable gaffe over an apostle – the patron saint of bookkeepers. What had Paul to do with accountants?!

    • VJ says:

Ari, It’s not okay to say these people have low IQs because of their bets.

Some people with high IQs aren’t good at math, others can’t spell, etc. We see highly intelligent people on the Jeopardy! stage who are brilliant in some categories and weak in others all the time.

How these smart people can botch their final wagers makes me smack my forehead. Wilson was going to win only if Peter missed Final. He should have wagered $1001 because Peter was more or less compelled to go big. Dan did right by making a minimal wager. I had no clue on FJ, said naturopathic medicine. I wouldn’t be shocked if Wilson is invited back for 2nd chance, but IMO he is undeserving.

Peter would often express dismay when he answered a clue with obvious confidence but got it wrong. Including that last DD when he unexpectedly went large. I did poorly tonight but knew the first two DDs (first was a toughie) and guessed St Catherine’s city. Did a lot better on J6 this morning, but those are multiple choice.

    • VJ says:

How ironic, Howard, that I initially thought Peter’s low DD bets would be his undoing. Instead, it ended up being a high DD bet!

  4. Mick says:

    Final cat was alternative medicine

    • VJ says:

So it is! The Jeopardy website only had “Medicine’ and I fast forwarded through the parts where that is shown when I watched the show. idk if I would have noticed anyway. I just got back from the eye doctor and my eyes were still dilated!

      Thanks for letting me know.

  5. VJ says:

Whoa! I didn’t expect Peter to go out that way. He loses the one time he goes big on a DD, and there went a possible runaway. I thought he opened the door wide for Wilson at that point but he ended up leading before FJ!

I got all the saint clues. I knew St. Catherine’s city and the apostle Paul was a tentmaker before he followed Jesus..

  6. Kevin Cheng says:

$2,193 is the lowest one day total of this season and also the lowest winning score in regular-play this season, the lowest since Bevin Blaber won $600 on June 19, 2025. Dan got lucky that Wilson bet too much. Wilson should have bet no more than 5,999 to keep Dan locked out. Dan only got 7 correct in today’s main game and he only has 14.6 % chance to win tomorrow. I hope Dan can improve his buzzer timing in tomorrow’s game.
