Viven Leigh was the second wife of English actor, Laurence Olivier. Their passionate romance began while they were both married to others. They married in 1940 and their union ended in 1960 due to Leigh’s mental health deteriorating as well as infidelity. The Oliviers made three movies together: “Fire Over England” (1937); “21 Days Together” (1940) and “That Hamilton Woman” (1941). Leigh was a 2x Best Actress Oscar winner for her roles as Scarlett O’Hara in “Gone with the Wind” (1939) and Blanche DuBois in “A Streetcar Named Desire” (1951), the latter film based on a play by Tennessee Williams.

Omg. You are sooooo roght.
Yes Sammi, you’re absolutely right!
I got it right as Vivien Leigh was indeed a golden age British actress.
Olivia de Havilland actually starred with Lawrence Olivier and Leigh in gone with the wind so those were not bad guesses. Still though as a fan of black and white color films, they will be Remembered for life. Also didn’t Jessica Tandy have a role in the films you mentioned here VJ?
You think Olivier was in Gone With the Wind?
Yeah, olivia was definitely the main character in gone with the wind. She died last year at age 104. Kuhn is the only actor still alive in that movie. Caren Doll and Patrick Curtis were the other two still alive though they were uncredited in the movie. Lawrence and Vivian were also in that movie and all three had big roles to play.
I don’t know who you have Olivier mixed up with but the 4 main characters in GWTW were Scarlett (Leigh), Rhett Butler (Clark Gable), Melanie and Ashley Wilkes (de Havilland & Leslie Howard)
Vivian Leigh was the star and main character as Scarlett O’Hara in the movie Gone With The Wind !
