I predict Joey to be a one day champ, unless he faces weak competitors. I, for one, was not impressed. The younger person “why did I ring in” seems hollow to me.
Competitive game, good challengers, although Jay was up and down more than the Dow Jones average. Joey stayed within range with a strong 2nd round. I blanked on the first DD and Final, got the other DDs.
Some strange responses. The Roman Empire in 1910? No one knew what city the Left Bank is in? Or the Mississippi’s famous nickname? I guessed the type of angel, the other stumpers were unkind. Didn’t see it in the stumpers, but I’m hardly shocked these youngstas didn’t know the year of the Watergate burglary.
It was another great game, and somewhat competitive. Anyways, I performed a little above average in the game, and went with Andrew Jackson for FJ. Sitting Bull? No!!!!!!! He appeared in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show around the turn of the century, and several decades later. Nat Turner? I never heard of him until now.
