The stadium is located at the base of the CN Tower, the tallest free-standing structure on land in the Western Hemisphere. On 4/18/2018, the Blue Jays were scheduled to play against the Kansas City Royals at Rogers Stadium but the game had to be postponed due to a hole in the stadium’s roof caused by ice falling from the CN Tower. Yesterday, I went to the eye doctor before Jeopardy! Nikki had to go to the 4th grade graduation for her twins, so I had to do the whole recap by myself with dilated eyes!

I had my right hand fingers on the wrong keys, that’s why I typed 88 instead of 99 for Peter’s bet. I put the line about the not played clues at the end of the first round instead of the last. So despite blurry vision, I only messed up 2 things.

That’s pretty good! yay me! 👍🤣🤣🤣

    • Rick says:

Well VJ, no one here was complaining so you must have done a splendid job despite the handicap.

      • VJ says:

Well, Rick, sometimes there’s a mistake or two even when Nikki is helping. I was just happy with the way this one turned out despite the blurry vision and the headache it gave me!

    • Sam in Seattle says:

Well, I’m impressed! When they dilate my eyes, I’m practically blind. As usual, your work is amazing

  2. Howard says:

Darn, I’d forgotten that the Skydome had changed its name to Rogers Centre, so I blew that one.
Stell-uh! She was stellar in the 2nd round while Geoff went nearly silent. Ken practically browbeat her into going all in on the 2nd DD, but it worked out. Other two were not difficult, that one was for me.

Snake River in Iowa? Hardly. And no one took a shot on the location of the Johnny Cash museum? The 1983 movie is a classic and won awards, yet no one took a guess on that one, either.

  3. Trevor Panno says:

Peter’s wager in final jeopardy is actually $3,599.

  4. Jason says:

I wonder why Geoff went radio silent in the second half of DJ. He didn’t look like he was struggling with the buzzer.

It was good that Stella was able to show some life during the interview. During the game, she was flat, on target, and locked in.

    • Jason says:

Oh, and, FJ was an easy one for me (and my wife). In fact, during COVID, the Toronto Blue Jays became the Buffalo Blue Jays, as they played in Buffalo because they couldn’t otherwise come and go across the border!

  5. Rick says:

It was another great game, and Stella became the new Jeopardy champion. Well, I haven’t been in touch with the MLB games for some time so I was unaware of the incident in Rogers Centre. Anyways, I went with the Metrodome Stadium in FJ for lack of anything better, but I knew that the dome was torn down some years ago.

  6. Kevin Cheng says:

There were 3 clues unplayed in DJ! so once again we didn’t get to see all 60 clues in this gane.
