Thank you so much for posting these synopses. It’s almost like watching the show, which is great b/c I can’t find yesterday’s show on youtube now.

You’re welcome, dee. Don’t forget that you can see the final round on Jeopardy!’s YouTube channel for any game you happen to miss. Here’s a link to the video for this game.

Hooray for Donna the librarian. She made significant headway in the Broadway category, and nailed the final. Ben was overdue for a loss.

I was briefly stumped by FJ until I recalled a woman author from that era who wrote about the West, then confirmed it by knowing the title character referred to in the clue.

Very good challengers tonight. They left a few on the table I thought one of them might get. The monarchs when Alaska was admitted and during the Boer War; Portuguese-speaking African nation; We the People document; panda’s name; resistance scale; and Arizona museum city.

    • Jason says:

Well, it happened again – saying a response which was already given (which we know isn’t USUALLY the right -: or, more accurately, accepted, answer). But, it challenges logic – Queen when Alaska became a state? C’mon, man!

I got FJ wrong. I’m trying to think of what was my response, but, regardless, I was wrong!

      • VJ says:

I think Ben misunderstood that Alaska clue as in when the USA acquired Alaska. idk but maybe he thought Victoria was the wrong answer in the previous clue?

  3. VJ says:

Congrats to Donna. She didn’t get any Daily Doubles but still won with the week’s highest payday.

    • Rick says:

Yes, Donna managed to deliver the correct response in FJ, and perhaps being a librarian gave her an edge.

  4. Kevin Cheng says:

Ron didn’t bet everything on the first daily double. Anyway, Ben Goldstein is leaving us with 5 wins and a shade under 50,000. The lowest 5 day total amount but a win is a win and that’s enough for Ben to make it to the TOC.
