2/3 on DD, but missed FJ with no answer. I figured it was Billy Shakespeare, but, that was it!
About 50% on TS.
My Shakespearean knowledge is shaky, so FJ got the better of me. First DD was easy. I’m still trying to remember if we learned that type of conjunction in junior high over 60 years ago. It was a fairly close game till they handed Mitch the win. Micah the chem engineer got a nice Chemistry category to hit.
Took me several minutes to collect myself after pounding my head repeatedly when no one knew United’s hub airport; the Union Club meal; the US soda; and the toy plastic platter. But that $2K total wouldn’t have gotten me too far against some otherwise good players.
What probably happened to the players on the Union Club meal was what happened to me — the answer sprang to mind immediately but I was skeptical about it being right because part of the answer was in the clue
Wow, that $1,000 clue describing the type of conjunction in which “and” was used was something else. Anyways, it was an interesting and challenging game. Well, I performed a tad above average, and had no idea regarding the FJ.
For a little while at least, my comments are going to be rather spotty as AT&T cancelled my DSL service last Friday.
It looks like Mitch got a little bit of a haircut.
What a big swing it was, we went into the break with a close game but when we returned from the break, Mitch was awarded 10,000 on a reversal in his daily double and that certainly was a game-changer.
Hmmm…. I forgot Mitch is in show biz. Still, congrats to him on getting that FJ! I was impressed!
Mitch and Micah could be in one of those Change A Letter categories 😂
They could add Barry and Berry to that Change a Letter category 😁
ha ha ha, Steve, I don’t think they want to remind anyone of
that episode! They’d probably skip Benedict and Benedick, too. 🤣
