To call a $4k bet “large” is playing down. It’s like Mattea doesn’t want to win any money. The chatty factor is way down, though, so that’s good.
The game – especially the Jeopardy! round – was made interesting by the challengers. I don’t know where Jessie went in the DJ round. I was totally rooting for her. Maybe it was just coincidental that the clue categories were in her wheelhouse in the first round.
There was an answer …
The man lived in Caddo Parish in this port city Well had lived Turns out some guys don’t mix well with threshers
I don’t know if it’s todays show but does anyone happen to know the question?
@Debra, it was in this game and the question was “What is Shreveport?”
The FJ was an easy one. Yes, it was the Mayflower.
I remember learning about the mayflower and the compact back in school. But I thought that the ship was worth a lot more than just 128 pounds 8 shillings and fourpence? Is there a reason why the appraisal was listed at that price?
Happy to see a double solve and all the daily doubles nailed. Congrats once again mattea
As it says in the recap, Lou, the ship was in a neglected state. I have to say it’s kind of insulting for you to ask me a question that is already answered in the recap. It tells me you didn’t read that part at all.
The Mayflower Compact was the answer to Final Jeopardy! in the last match of the 2016 Teen Tournament — the one where Alec Fischthal lost by $1. His reaction went viral.
