Decent performance by the challengers, especially after Brent’s early gaffe when he said “setter” in the “Spring” category. Utterly shocked that no one knew Final; that guy’s been her bread and butter forever.

Guessed the 2nd DD and of course knew the 3rd. 10 years of francais are cemented in my old head. Knew the drying cloth and the 6-letter resident was pretty darn easy. Shoot, there were no “Springtime for Hitler” clues in the Spring category.

I’d like to raise my hand VJ, but the Jeopardy game shows in my area have been preempted by basketball games during the last couple of days. In any case, I do know some French, but I’m particularly well acquainted with Spanish. In fact, I even attended a Spanish language school in Zihuatanejo, Mexico some years ago..

Well, I unfortunately missed both Jeopardy games (yesterday and today) since those shows were preempted by basketball games I sure hope that Monday will be different.

Oui, oui, VJ, I got the DD that he missed!

  5. VJ says:

I’m pretty sure a number of Fikkle Fame readers know a good amount of français. Raise your hand if you got that DD right that Jamie missed. He seems to know Latin quite well. I’m the opposite – I know French better, having flatly refused to study Latin in H.S. I did learn the Catholic Mass in Latin though. Then they switched it to English. 🤣

I don’t know what Brent was trying to convey with that stance after his FJ! response was revealed but I loved it!
