WHO IS JASMINE?
The entry for “Badroulbadour” on The Princess Fandom website tells the original story of the Chinese princess whom Aladdin falls in love with. From their trivia section: “Sheherazade located this story in China but every detail tended to remind of Persia. Thus most adaptations … located the tale in Persia instead, making the princess looking Arab instead of Chinese.” That would include changing the name of the princess to Badr al-Budur since “-al” is an Arabic prefix. Aladdin was not part of the original 1001 Arabian Nights stories. French translator Antoine Galland added it to 1001 Nights in the early 18th century.
In Disney’s 1992 animated adaptation, Princess Jasmine is voiced by Linda Larkin. Scott Weinger voiced Aladdin and the late Robin Williams provided the voices of the Genie and the Peddler.

Great gameplay by all the players. After watching aladdin and the king of thieves and the entire aladdin tv show, I was able to get this one. The book one thousand and one arabian nights also helped as well. Ciara has a very good chance to run a streak to try and close out march and end the leader curse. I also remember about seeing these aladdin characters in disney at one point. This is a very strong group.
So far this week, the player from the second podium has won the game and it’s happened 4 games in a row, will the same thing happened tomorrow to wrap up the week? Also, Ciara is the sister of Kristin Donegan from the National College Championship 2022.
