I was 2)3 on DD and missed FJ, cleanly. Didn’t even have a clue.

Have to agree with my buddy Howard; relatively lackluster crew in this TOC. Didn’t they used to give a trophy?

  2. Howard says:

Came in at the midway point when it was still a game. That didn’t last long. Say what you will about Paolo’s DD wagers propelling him to all 3 wins, but IMO he was clearly the standout among this crew. I like the best of 7 format better than the 2-day combined score one. Even though Paolo’s win was a fait accompli after 2 days, it’s not always going to be that one-sided. Off the top of my head, I’d say this ToC field as a whole was inferior to many in the past.

I can see that I wiped out on all of the DDs, Final, and the stumpers. I at least answered a few in DJ.

  3. Rick says:

Well, it started out as a competitive game, but Paolo soon left the other two competitors far behind in another clear runaway. I didn’t do well in the game at all, and went with the Philippines for Fj. IMHO, those contestants could have at least taken a guess for FJ as even a bad guess is better than nothing at all.

  4. Ismael Gomez says:

We got a triple stumper in the final today.

  5. Steve Bearss says:

Pretty ridiculous 3 game performance from Paolo

  6. Kevin Cheng says:

Congratulations to Paolo for winning the 2026 Tournament of Champions. He won the TOC in a 3 game final sweep in a runaway. Paolo also becomes the first 7 day champ to win the TOC. We’ll see Paolo again in the Jeopardy Masters in primetime later this spring on ABC. Jeopardy Invitational Tournament begins tomorrow.
