Here’s a video from Vexillographer with the whole scoop on how Albuquerque, New Mexico once had an extra R in its name, when it was named after the Duke of Alburquerque. Or was it? Another theory says it was really named after Afonso de Albuquerque. In 1850, one-R Albuquerque was made official. At present, Alburquerque, Spain is one of its 11 sister cities.

Good game. For a moment I thought Ray wasn’t going to come up with the UNCF. He probably would not have won had he missed it. I said Albuquerque for Final but really wasn’t sure. One of the easier of the recent FJs, for certain.

Didn’t see the movie but knew the Jimmy Chitwood basketball film. Rocky’s opponent pretty well known after nearly 50 years. “Ain’t gonna be no rematch.”

No real effect on the eventual outcome, but Troy’s faux pas on “capitulate” could have been fatal.

It was another fabulous and competitive game along with a no-brainer for FJ.
