BOTH contestants got Final Jeopardy! right.
From U.S. Courts.gov: “The Supreme Court’s decision in Miranda v. Arizona addressed four different cases involving custodial interrogations,” in which each defendant was interrogated without getting “a full and effective warning of his rights at the outset of the interrogation process.”
Chief Justice Earl Warren very clearly spelled out those rights in the Supreme Court ruling: “In the absence of other effective measures, the following procedures to safeguard the Fifth Amendment privilege must be observed: the person in custody must, prior to interrogation, be clearly informed that he has the right to remain silent, and that anything he says will be used against him in court; he must be clearly informed that he has the right to consult with a lawyer and to have the lawyer with him during interrogation, and that, if he is indigent, a lawyer will be appointed to represent him.”
Imagine if it had been called the “Warren Warning” — the Jeopardy! clues on it would surely contain the word “alliterative.”
Kate bet it all and doubled her score to $5,200.
Rob bet $16,399 to win with $37,999, another great payday. His 4-day total is $92,298.

Congrats to Rob. It ain’t easy getting a spot on the top 10 paydays these days, but he’s done it twice now. These last 2 game, it was like he already won enough to make him happy so he was willing to bet more in FJ.

I knew Rob would win game four just like how Ryan did in his game last month. Congrats to Rob on winning 92000 dollars and we welcome him into the tournament of champions. Also VJ, you’ve heard of the landmark supreme court case Miranda v Arizona right? Plus, Rob has been dominating the game so far. I wonder if he has Andrew Moore’s playing style?
First game without contestants coming off their podiums at the end after someone finished in the negative.
