TWO of the contestants got Final Jeopardy! right.

“While the Bible does not mention birthstones, their widely accepted origin story has roots in biblical history. Exodus 28 contains instructions for making the sacred, priestly garments. Exodus 28:15–30 describes Aaron’s high priestly breastplate, upon which 12 stones were used to represent the 12 tribes of Israel. A first-century Jewish historian made a connection between these 12 stones, the 12 months of the year, and the 12 signs of the Zodiac—although no such connection exists in the Bible….” (

Vaishali came up with the Twelve Days of Christmas. She bet and lost it all.

Kevin got it right. He bet $7,199, bringing him up to $16,399.

Travis got it, too. He bet $5,950 so he won the match with $18,450. Travis Rojakovick is the new Jeopardy! champ.

Lou, Here’s what I like about the one to two times champs; share the wealth!

VJ, I like the Lonely Bull a lot too

Yeah, mimsy, I agree. Most of the time I like to see the champs changing . The only times I don’t is when there’s a player who is clearly a great candidate for the ToC and he or she loses too soon to get a guaranteed spot.

P.S. I looked up those islands off the northern coast of Scotland to see how cold it was there today. I thought it would be a lot colder than here, but it’s only about 10 degrees less. It says their weather is a lot milder than one would think for a place so far north because of the Gulf Stream. Hmmmm, here it’s a lot colder than one would think here for a place so far south. LOL!

12 days of Christmas? That doesn’t really have anything to do with birthstones. Also, what is your birthstone, VJ? Plus, when can we see a five time winner? This week has been nothing but one day champs. Plus, can zodiac signs also represent birthstones?
