2/3 on DD, and got FJ,which I thought was remarkably easy.

Something I noticed about “Lucky Laura” – she sneaks up on you. I wasn’t looking at scores, but, when I did, she was just before her runaway. I didn’t think she was that far ahead!

And, if you are not from the area, the Allegheny and Monongahela, to make this “stately” river, are the nominal “Three Rivers”, of Pittsburgh stadium fame!

and the TS about the “whiz” of a justice made that a gimme.

  2. Howard says:

Solid performance by Laura against some decent opposition. Brad had to play catch-up after blowing that very knowable “mean guy” DD.

“Catch it” momentarily threw me off, but I quickly figured out the soundtrack, then realized the connection to the marketing phrase.

I’m old enough to remember the former football star who became a Supreme Court justice. The eye parts were not too tough to discern, neither were the 3 differ by a letter stumpers.

  3. Kevin Cheng says:

Laura is now a 6 day champion and becomes our first 6 day champion of Season 41. She is staying alive in her lucky run. Tomorrow will be our last regular game of the year. Whoever wins tomorrow’s game gets a long break because we have Second Chance 2024-2025 followed by Champions Wildcard 2025 and the Tournament of Champions 2025. Second Chance makes its return next week.
