WHO IS BANKSY?
“Banging Your Head Against a Brick Wall” (2001) was the first of a trio of pocket-size books published by the mysterious graffiti artist known only as Banksy, displaying his unique artistic talents. It was followed by “Existencilism” in 2002, and “Cut It Out” in 2004. Banksy also published a regular size book in 2005 called “Wall and Piece”, which combined everything from the first three books. I have no idea what these books cost when they first came out, but they have become collector items. A first edition of “Wall and Piece” with the dust cover intact can sell for as much as $1,000 U.S. or more! Collectors say if you only want one Banksy book, get “Wall and Piece”.
Kathy thought it was Bradbury. She lost her $5,000 bet and finished with $200.
Mitch got it right. He bet $1,999 and finished with $18,799.
Ray got it right, too. He bet $9,800 and won the game with $34,000. Ray’s 6-day total is $166,200.

($800) Getting nose-y: “Leonard, always the years between us. Always the years. Always, the love. Always…” (& we have a movie title!)

This title character says, “Who find my visage’s center ornament a thing to jest at–it is my wont…to let him taste my steel” show

Mitch was sure giving Ray a run for his money for a while in the Double Jeopardy! round. He played a good game. Congrats, of course, to Ray on his 6th win. He makes it look so effortless!
Repeating my bad weather message here for anyone who didn’t see it, we are due for below freezing temps for a day or two beginning this evening here in Houston. The last time this happened, power was on and off, among other problems. For all we know right now, even if the power is on, they could preempt J! just to monitor the weather (because they like to do that). But we will see the game as soon as possible and get the recap up.
Stay safe and warm, everyone!
Hope your power stays on, VJ! We’re in for a deep freeze here, too, beginning tomorrow afternoon and through the weekend. And as you said, hope everyone stays safe and warm.
You also stay safe vj and hope your power stays on too. We are also getting a deep freeze Friday night
Oh congrats Ray on winning again.
