As William Weyser says, darn those daily doubles, Ed.

  2. Howard says:

Tyler is quite the smart guy. His rigid posture makes my slouch look lame.
I honestly didn’t think he’d get FJ. “Oliver!” came to mind right away, even though I’ve never seen the film. I did see the show on Broadway, the 2nd one I ever attended. David Jones, later of the Monkees, was the Artful Dodger. Still have my Playbill. To avoid confusion, a later David Jones changed his surname to Bowie.

Very surprised Ed didn’t know Jenner’s vaccine. That’s pretty basic.
I thought someone should have gotten the heat energy clue, as half the answer was in the Latin form of the word.

Re the FJ from 2021: no one could figure out the world figure whose “anachronistic” death by violence refuted all logic? If you knew MacArthur’s time of fame and a peaceful leader who died by violence, it wasn’t tough.

    Where are Mrs answers?

  4. Elan S Xu says:

That’s too bad, we are not going to have any female contestants participating in the Heart Group finals game.

  5. VJ says:

Congrats to all the players for getting the final. I was right that Ed would know Gigi. I never really got into that one myself but the actors in Oliver! were awesome. Harry Secombe is just about my favorite when he sings “Boy for Sale”.

None of the actors in Gigi got Oscar nods; Ron Moody and Jack Wild (Artful Dodger) were nominated for Oliver! but they didn’t win.

I knew that TS on the black deputy U.S. Marshal from the INSP series Wild West Chronicles, S1E6. It’s on YouTube.

    • Jason says:

I, too, thought that the algae clue was a bad one. I even told my wife.

The black deputy was also on an episode of Timeless, from about 5 or 6 years ago, and a new series on Paramount Plus. Another interesting thing about him: 3000 arrests, and never injured, even once!

I thought Ed was a little quick on that cholera. Frankly, that’s an easy one.

      • VJ says:

What exactly was the answer Ken expected from them? That’s what I mean about Ken giving half-assed answers. He’s too busy being the life of the party.

  6. Kevin Cheng says:

Wow, all three players bet it all and got Final right. I guess everybody was a big fan of musicals. The last time everyone bet all of their money was 11/9/23 when two of the three players got Final correct.
