I thought that it was a tough finale, but two contestants managed to get it right. Actually, I never heard of Sister Cities International before.

I had noted some months ago that Strasbourg, France (where my 96-year-old jazz musician maternal Uncle Donald now lives), and Boston MA USA are sister/sibling cities (in part based on music culture shared), in one of the chapters of my in-progress bio book on ace teen eco champion Greta Thunberg. I was not fully certain on this FJ but was fairly sure it was What are Sister Cities?

Pam was playing pretty well today despite getting tripped up over that second daily double. Still though I thought she would have won today if Amy got this wrong. Although I think this clue was a bit poorly worded in final today. Overall i think Amy surpassed Jonathan Fisher in total winnings but she will be tied with him tomorrow hopefully.

I didn’t see anything confusing about the way the FJ! clue was worded myself. Perhaps they could have put quotes around “these” to indicate that was the part to replace. Some might have still found that confusing if they didn’t make it “these two words” lol. 2 players got it so it couldn’t have been that bad anyhow.

As I mentioned this morning, in the content section of many major cities on wikipedia, they will have a link to Sister Cities. Today I learned that the cities actually enter into formal agreements when I looked up Washington, D.C. (because it’s featured in the video). D.C. has 15 at this time.
