“Hair-raising tale” … Very clever, Mom!

A brief flash of inspiration led me immediately to Tesla. Petting cat to static to the man. Amazing. I suspected Harrison might go big in Final. Sarah, who had a promising start till that first DD, had nothing to gain by betting the farm in Final. $399 or less was the way to go, and instead she finished 3rd. Dumb.

I went with Confucius for first DD but nailed the other 2 easily. Almost got the travel book but added one sight too many to the title. I got them on the oil/vinegar vessel, Harlem Congressman.

Fast or mumbled speech is a barrier for me, but Harrison’s does not faze me at all. I use closed captions but really look at them only when I’m multi-tasking and not paying 100% attention.

  3. Rick says:

Wow, another clear runaway for Harrison, and what a runaway that was! I mean, the other contestants had absolutely no hope at all of winning the game unless Harrison was going to bet the store in FJ. Anyways, I also went with Einstein in FJ, but I sure didn’t think that I was going to score on that one.

  4. Richard Walls Corliss says:

    Why does Harrison talk fast?

    • VJ says:

I don’t know. Sometimes I can’t understand what he said.

      Why can’t he stand still?

      • Rick says:

I have that same trouble VJ. I mean, I don’t know about Harrison speaking fast, but his responses are hard to pick out at times. Well, Ken Jennings doesn’t seem to have any trouble with it.

  5. Kevin Cheng says:

Harrison is the first player this season to sweep the entire week. He is also now #17 in the all-time winnings.
