Anjolie showed pluck, which cannot be said for many contestants in the past few months. Respect for her!

Thanks much VJ for so rapidly posting more details on the infamous Dred Scott SCOTUS case that even this journalist-historian learned a few things from!

Anjolie was a strong player for Jonathan today and now today’s win will definitely give him a good shot at that 9th win. Great game today by all the players. Jack couldn’t catch up to Jon or Anjolie but still that dred scott case was something worth studying in US history class for me and brings back so many great memories. Jon’s win reminded me of Jennifer Quail, Karen Farrell, and Mackenzie Jones in their runs. I hope to see another 8 time winner hopefully in November or December when Ken shows up hosting.

Anjolie’s late DD certainly makes it quite exciting going into FJ! but in the end Jonathan remains champion and he is now a shade under 200 grand.
