Michael’s wager on FJ was quizzical. Had he been correct, and Matt also correct, he would have tied.

However, I DID call Matt as my horse in the race! Coincidentally, just like last week with Xanni, the rerun of J! on Saturday evening had Matt’s game, again, against Cris. He was leading into FJ, but, got it wrong.

I liked the 100% on DDs. That’s all 3 are “all in”, and all get them correct.

One thing that I did not go back and review, I thought Matt said Phoebe Walbridge, not “Waller-Bridge”. But, as I say, I did not go back and review, so, couldn’t have mattered much to me!

It was more than obvious that the correct responses for the FJ were going to be two capitals in the New England states. How one of the contestants picked a couple of western state capitals I’ll never know. Anyways, I did pick Boston as one of the state capitals, but couldn’t quite come up with the other.

Unfortunately yet again they are wrong. The question does NOT ask for the breed, it asks for “the breed contains this name of multiple English monarchs”. King Charles is the answer to the question NOT the breed of dog which spaniel is mentioned in the question. The monarch is NOT Cavalier king Charles but just King Charles, so his answer putting King Charles first in his answer was CORRECT! The quality of Jeopardy questions and decisions is really going down hill since the writers strike.

Marlene, I did make a note that all Michael needed to say was Charles under the final scores image. I actually agree with you that they should have let him have it but I know it’s up to the judges to decide if they will reject an answer that has more in it than was required.

I’m just glad Mayim isn’t around anymore to get raked over the coals with these things.

Speaking of Mayim Bialik, the star once had an active interest in becoming the permanent host of Jeopardy, but it seemed that she eventually lost all interest in the show.
