    Darn those Daily Doubles.

  2. Jacob Ska says:

Ken Jennings is a good example of knowledge pays off. The guy has made millions off of trivia and it wasn’t just from Jeopardy. There have been books and other game shows. Now TV host is added to his resume and bank account. It pays to be smart. 😎

  3. Albert says:

When will the first Ken Jennings hosting air?

  4. Dal Higbee says:

This episode should’ve aired on Christmas Day, on the show’s YouTube channel.

Alex will forever be remembered as a legend of jeopardy. He will be missed. We will forever cherish all the memories Alex have given us. Still though too bad cliff’s true daily double failed to work on him and he ends up being dismissed. God speed to Alex trebek.

Great play by the contestants but I really hoped yoshi would have won another game.

I enjoyed reading Alex’s memoir a few weeks ago. Ken, and whoever else hosts going forward, will certainly have big shoes to fill.

I have been put off by some of Ken’s past questionable tweets that have received some attention online. But I always figured that they were anomalies that didn’t really reflect on him as a person. So I was glad that he addressed them recently and apologized, and I believe he did not just do so to save face, but that he genuinely regretted them for their own sake. Twitter seems to bring out the worst in people.

  7. DC says:

    Godspeed Alex.

I cringed a little yesterday when Yoshie mentioned in the chat that her town was known as a necropolis. No reflection on her, just eerie knowing that Alex had already passed.
He gave us so many wonderful memories. I loved how he could just use his eyes to create a laugh for the audience.

    • VJ says:

You and me both, DC, and esp when he cut it short by just saying “oh, boy” and then continued the game. I don’t think he was expecting that explanation behind the town’s motto

Today is the last day of Alex Trebek and we ended his show with 2 players left in FJ! This week we had three straight triple stumpers and 2 correct solves in the last week of Alex Trebek in FJ!
