TWO of the contestants got Final Jeopardy! right.
In the last chapter of Exodus, the Lord gave Moses extremely specific instructions on setting up the Ark of the Covenant and tabernacle. When Moses had faithfully complied, “a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.” If the cloud lifted, the Israelites continued on their journey through the desert. “But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.” The chapter concludes with Verse 38: “For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.”
From 2008: THE OLD TESTAMENT ($400) After the golden calf was destroyed, Moses was directed to make this; it was later set up in the tabernacle
Daniel thought it was the Book of James. He didn’t bet anything so he stayed at $4,400.
Katie got it right but didn’t bet anything either so she stayed at $10,000.
Veronica got it right, too. She added $999 to win the game with $21,999. Veronica Vichit-Vadakan is the new Jeopardy! champ.

Looks like the girls got into the right direction after knowing that the Lord was speaking to Moses. If Veronica got it wrong it would be just enough money to prevent another tiebreaker.
Well despite missing the first two daily doubles, veronica made a comeback today. Congrats to her on the win and to Katie on getting final. It’s unfortunate Daniel couldn’t get much going. Also I never heard of Benchley or his book the shark life. Just hope veronica can build on her win.
Daniel’s sister Caitlin was on the 35th season premiere 9/10/18.
Benchley is most well known for writing the book that was adapted into the film “Jaws”. I’m sure the writers were expecting a “Shark Life” => “Jaws” => Benchley inference, and was the inference I made with about 80% confidence.
