Denver improved to 42-18, just a game behind the idle Golden State Warriors (43-17). The Nuggets have not shown any signs of fading in a surprising season. Oklahoma City remains in 3rd in the West, at 38-22, five games back. This won’t be a runaway for the Warriors this season; besides the Nuggets and Thunder, Portland is just six games back and Houston is eight behind. Denver will be at Golden State for games March 8th and April 2nd.
