Bucks Top Raptors for 50th Win of the Season

Last season, the Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors were the #1 and #2 seeds in the NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs, and met in the Eastern Conference Finals. Toronto won that series on the way to winning the NBA Championship. This season is shaping up the same way. The Bucks and Raptors were again leading the Eastern Conference on February 25th went they faced each other in Toronto.

The game was very even in three of the four quarters, but in the third, he Bucks scored 34 points in the held the Raptors to just 19 as Milwaukee beat Toronto 108-97. The Bucks were led by Khris Middleton with 22 points. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 19 and added 19 rebounds. Pascal Siakam scored 22 for the Raptors.

It was the 50th win of the season for the Bucks, against just eight losses. Milwaukee has already clinched a playoff berth. Toronto is 42-16, and is exceeding expectations, as the Raptors figured to take a step back after losing Kawhi Leonard to the L.A. Clippers via free agency. Milwaukee is 2-0 versus Toronto this season; they will meet in Milwaukee on April 1st and then once more in Toronto on April 3rd.
